Community Chesterfield
Community Chesterfield brings people together to build networks, share ideas, learn and collaborate to strengthen the communities across Derbyshire.
We are an innovative, collaborative partnership between Derbyshire Voluntary Action and the University of Derby, based at the University’s St Helena Campus.
The project is community-led and funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.
Work with over 300 voluntary and community organisations across Derbyshire
Provide the expertise to co-create impactful and measurable community activities
Facilitate relevant training including our popular Training and Tea series.
Present networking and learning opportunities for cross-sector collaboration
Insightful reporting to share with wider audiences through powerful media stories
Run an award winning Experts by Experience programme
Work closely and in partnership with the University of Derby, supporting the civic agreement.
